How and Why I Speak
I want to share what I have been given.
I am called to pass on the lessons and the freedom God has taught me throughout my years as a child, young woman, mother, wife, psychotherapist, author and overall beautiful mess.
I like to use the topics in my book, Long Live Love, Walking Out Freedom From Painful Generational Patterns. Long Live Love includes a wide range of topics from family of origin issues: family systems, family dysfunction, differentiating from unhealthy families, addiction and abuse, to the most important Biblical principles: Lordship, Intimacy with God, Forgiveness, Faith, Humility, and Freedom in Christ.
My style is to share from a powerful yet vulnerable place. I am real and gritty. I think it's boring if speakers are too general so I get specific. I naturally bring in my psychotherapy expertise to weave psychology with Biblical principles in order to educate and help people make sense of their day to day experiences.
Whenever possible, I love to bring the audience along with experiential exercises that tie into the topic. This way, they don't just hear, but they have an opportunity to practice what I am teaching.
